Wenglowski was born in Rochester, NY. Early painting and drawing classes were at the Rochester Institute of Technology. She was awarded a BFA Cum Laude from Manhattnville College, with Art Department honors in 1980.

    Wenglowski has taught physically and mentally challenged individuals, preschool children, high school youth, private students, and received grants for teaching.


    Wenglowski has served on three art advisory boards among them the Katonah Museum Artists’ Association Advisory Board. There she chaired a committee for the Featured Artist of the Month Online. She also curated for the Featured Artist at the Katonah Museum of Art for the KMAA.
    She was a former president of the Katonah Museum Artists’ Association and created and chaired a program called Artists Visit Artists, which encourages knowledge of artists and their work through studio visits.

    Ms. Wenglowski has created an interactive painting for the Northern Westchester Hospital Cancer Treatment and Wellness Center. That painting has been included in a HGTV commercial for the hospital.
